Pluto in Aquarius #369

By Michael Dagen on January 9, 2024

born with Pluto in Aquarius
how long til' these children liberate us

with wild human nature
awakened from pacified failure

what might reality be like
not traumatizing kids day and night

poison fed meals
injecting sickening needles

imagine family raised in Truth
pray gratitude to God daily

vision as fantasy it seems
stumbling drunk out of Pisces

standing on our heads so long
nearly everything 'known' upside down

fascinating fiction obscene
detach life from unholy corrupting machine.

Baby Monks #367

By Michael Dagen on December 31, 2023

News flash devils overran heaven
who let viscous vampires in
shadow side of Unconditional Love
no one not welcome where self undoing is done

please show bright side o' fallen world
who shall save us from tantalizing horror
how to cut cords end life support
for blood sucking training wheels out worn

think of Amish and wealthy
play long game start with family
leaving books poems and songs around
create healthy baby monks that know up from down

living lies exhaustingly deadly
waste of compassion treating poison friendly
at year's end make this pledge
witness stupid don't be it.

Contrast #366

By Michael Dagen on December 29, 2023

self will doesn’t last
past ego’s death
fake the math
until escape hatch mapped

my roll disturbs
playful sober hermit
shooting darts at herd
ones not buying absurd

loose our leash
poison as treats
tired trained sheep
blah blah bleak

an illuminated line
green grass other side
this day stop lying
reach out when leaping finally.

No Rules Reunion #364

By Michael Dagen on December 16, 2023

Incorruptible Everlasting Love
created place to know family

original intent; a harmonious heaven
where freewill beings loved and supported each other
while striving to reach their highest potential

not long after spiritual children arrived
it became apparent that Love's Gesture
must adapt to a hellish reality taking shape

having access to total freedom of imagination
many are corrupted by temptation
disregarding rules of harmony
in pursuit of self interest

acting like they own this place
the majority turn to debauchery
defiling and polluting themselves
in addition to everything in sight
aiming to plunder
this gifted playground turned inverted

most never consider purpose of life
wasting creativity on twisted stories
promoting meaninglessness of existence
justifying a tradition of manufactured madness

only those who prove their worth
by expressing sincere gratitude
rejecting what is false
with desire to know Truth
will be invited to the next family reunion.

Blackout #363

By Michael Dagen on December 14, 2023

watching programs hearing reruns
unconscious patterns American doldrums

one big lying experiment
how fat and tired will the populace get

parasitic psychotic unholy foundation
where life is plundered twisted nation

symbol changed from phoenix to eagle
scavenger bird of prey for real

international banker built house of cards
drugged dealers push blackout hard

arrogant evil always fails
tides are turning set your sails

breakaway daily from poisoned pastime
corrupted senses cannot guide

exciting times what comes next
empire ends witness it.

In Between #362

By Michael Dagen on December 13, 2023

somewhere in between
illusion and forgotten dreams
find quite center
where all things maybe
still might be

I guess we’ll see
what stands the test
who survives their quest
let's map this best
while growing hair on chest
fear a proliferating pest
fed from past years’ mess
we’re beaten by laziness

responsible eye beholder
chance to use lump on shoulders
course correct time of disorder.

First 2 Know #361

By Michael Dagen on December 7, 2023

my Russian bride arrives next week
order placed Black Friday shopping spree
Putin threw in free shipping
something about Chechnyan rebel prisoner release
sounds like my kinda woman
an ally to help Todd County revolution
this beauty’s 6 foot I’m 6’4”
just right kissing height twin towers allured
can’t beat 16 month guarantee
she even comes with vodka still I don’t drink
it’s like loving a sexy money tree
could be best marriage yet wait and see
how to communicate shadow triggers when they arise
language barrier may surprise
or not eyes say it all
are you angry sad Russian doll.

Temple Experience #357

By Michael Dagen on December 1, 2023

moping round moat
snowless barren ski slope
sissy winter so far geez
driest cold boneyard seen
weather mod show off plan
designers tinker arrogant hand

no one comes knocking much
since Truth allied Incorruptibility touched

gifting this hunky monk
breath not used saved and sung
temple experience working play
life as playground find your mates
watching others join crusade
same old playbook dialectic fake

being moved by flickering screens
makes one weak out of body.

Sparrow Feeder #355

By Michael Dagen on November 21, 2023

sparrow feeder blue jay seer
flocks of fowl can't be trusted

when walking alone tripped by stone
awaken before birds pick your bones

forgive grave image forget folly missteps
nature cleans up corpse buffets

gross you might say I spy elegance at play
same for our bodies that move us

microbes are friends until bitter end
fill organs full of toxins they'll go nuts

grasp this bad joke swallowing poison down throat
while blaming germs for sickness scapegoat

living life as lie creates consequence oh my
stupidity a broadcast contagious disease

grownups know when to admit swindle fix in
humans time to rise up from knees.

Truth Will Decide #354

By Michael Dagen on November 19, 2023

cracks in the nonsense
crumbling concepts
organized crime
arrogance overtime
what should be done
jettison wrong
choices made
consent how we’re played
freewill a thing
in fact everything
reason we’re here
test our worth dear
align with lies
annihilation time
nowhere to hide
Truth decides.

Masochist Dance #353

By Michael Dagen on November 17, 2023

dance of masochism
spiraling dead love spin
floorboards rotten lost respect
walk the plank jump shipwreck
sad songs played sinking deck
house of cards fiction fest

chasm opens former hurts
treasure hidden under dirt
exorcise self or stay possessed
ego’s wish to save face yet

clown car spills counselors
psych actors pill pushers
killer healthcare cuttings drugged
poison suppresses healing duh

life too short to live a lie
time plum ripe give truth a try.

Magical Other #352

By Michael Dagen on November 15, 2023

poems piling up outside chrysalis cave
bottles of messages await rebirth gaze

forgive pushy persistent ‘pam’ like flirtation
taste of heaven wrecks ability patience

focused now finishing pollinator garden
once emerged please land beauty in backyard

promising not to net you with shiny round ring
16 month waiting period before bending on knee

rule of thumb past mistakes know best
what evolves overtime spent in fiery love nest

vision quest picture matching magical other
longevity companion through life’s journey down under

who shall be there at last bedside breath
what ally inspires effort to delay eventual end

two mirrored candles light up living room
how bright will you be once free from cocoon.

Thanks Decay #351

By Michael Dagen on November 11, 2023

under cloudy covered days
reflecting years past amazed
truthful choices made with gratitude
solo sailing tests every part of you

opportunity provider mission here
open door enter seers
lonely times when wishing different
patience my date by candle lit dinner

emptied closet cleared out drawers
making room long partnership yearned
embracing selective picky ways
taste of heaven causes lasting change

owned myself through the thickening
not many left still mask wearing
gifts galore sprout from compost
thanks decay for making life grow.

Postmaster #349

By Michael Dagen on November 1, 2023

postmen elate
when love poems come their way

starved of romance they await
tasty words from hearts ablaze

not since days of C. Chaplin
has honey caused such wet napkins

glad someone can get rocks off
while poets pick chastity belt locks

think dipshits will ever try
to mimic this madness with A.I.

good luck programming robo grammerly
with sparks from arcs of misery

chock up another win for unrequited
rejection inspires more writing

secretly I know path ascending
open page to book happy endings.

Birds of Pray #348

By Michael Dagen on November 1, 2023

I’ve got a thing for stings
from sexy Scorpio risings

it has taken many years of tears
building tolerance to their poisoning

pray you never break with fixed water
they’ll spit in both eyes and bite off what’s longest

this dance of danger really turns me on
like a hell ride in heaven’s hearse sing along

babe let’s skip cleanup time for dessert
what life be like during Pluto’s housework

depth of dungeon or sky’s the limit
these Martian warriors take no shit

never penning love letters after war
betrayal they fear most while keeping score

so if you’ve got cojones get in line
an eagle might just take ya for a lifetime.
